In this paper, Burbules and Berk argues that the 2 foremost critical schools in education - Critical Thinking and Critical Pedagogy have weaknesses. I argue that this weakness is in their inability to deconstruct the neoliberalism of our world. This is why we need an Alternate Criticality, what we now call CEL.
