Economics is for Everyone
In this video, Prof Chang (formerly from Cambridge, now at SOAS) argues that economists have obfuscated economics and made the average person feel it is beyond them (image: wizard of Oz); yet today, maybe more than ever, is there a need for more people to have a better grasp and learn to question the economics around us. Also, note that the current form of economics (known as neoliberalism) has not always been the main school of economic thought and policy. What new insights did you gain from this video?
